15 tracks. No surrender. The Goons' blistering hardcore D.C. punk assault returns on CD!
About the Album
Originally released in 2003 on Reptilian Records, Nation In Distress finds Washington, D.C. hardcore punk veterans The Goons firing on all cylinders with 15 tracks of fast, furious, politically charged hardcore.
Fueled by raw guitars, pounding drums, and an uncompromising attitude, the album delivers just under 27 minutes of aggressive, no-frills hardcore D.C. punk. From "Firefly In A Jar" and "Toy Soldiers" to "Human Wheel" and "Stormtroopers Of Good Faith," these songs remain staples of the band's live performances.
Reissued on CD by Big Curve Music on September 20, 2023, this release preserves the original 2003 recording without changes.
