About the Album
Die, Santa Christ, Die! is the debut album from Santa Christ, the singular studio creation of musician and accomplished tattoo artist Wayne Crowther. Heavy riffs, mechanical rhythms, synths, samples, dark humor, electronic noise, punk aggression and outright absurdity collide across 16 tracks that rarely behave the way a rock song is supposed to.
Billed as “The Greatest Band That Never Was,” Santa Christ was never a traditional band and never performed live. Crowther created the project entirely in the studio with help from a small circle of fellow musicians and friends, resulting in what the original promotional copy proudly described as “a tangy mélange of flagrant self indulgence and mental masturbation.”
Released by Big Curve Music on October 15, 2021, Die, Santa Christ, Die! stands as the defining document of Crowther’s singular musical creation.
