About the Album

Source Code is an ambitious full-length album from Baltimore-area progressive and alternative rock band Nova Koloso. Across seven expansive original compositions, the band combines layered guitars, atmospheric keyboards, powerful rhythms, and thoughtful lyrics with arrangements that move freely between melodic rock, progressive experimentation, and heavier sonic territory.

From the nearly nine-minute opening track “Pterodactyls” through the ten-minute title track and sprawling finale “Rivals,” Source Code rewards focused listening. Its songs explore technology, faith, philosophy, personal relationships, social conflict, and the forces shaping the modern world while remaining grounded in distinctly human performances.

Produced by Nova Koloso and Steve Wright at Wright Way Studios, the album features Mark Colegrove on vocals and guitar, Tom Colegrove on drums, Dustin Moraczewski on keyboards, Tim Yungwirth on guitar, and Morgan Bell on bass.

The CD and vinyl editions also include an exclusive bonus rendition of The Police’s “Synchronicity I,” available only on the physical formats.
