About the EP
Hollowboy was a Baltimore-based electronic rock band active from approximately 2007–2010, featuring Jeff Bradford, Victoria Cardoni, Tim Phillips, Brent Shiley, and Jesse Walters. During its active years, the band toured extensively throughout the United States and Canada, including three major tours opening for Mindless Self Indulgence, along with performances and touring with The Birthday Massacre and Velvet Code.
Despite that active touring history, the self-titled Hollowboy EP became the band's only official release. Originally issued on March 17, 2009, physical CDs were primarily available from the band at shows, while the digital edition was limited to Bandcamp.
More than a decade later, Big Curve Music brought the EP into wider digital distribution on March 13, 2022, preserving the original five-track release for a broader audience.
Produced by Rhys Fulber and Tim Phillips, mixed by Rhys Fulber, and mastered by Greg Reely, the EP combines electronic programming, synth-driven textures, rock instrumentation, and dual-vocal performances across four songs and a remix.
