About the Album
Originally released on September 5, 2000, Greatest Hits captures Dingleberry Dynasty at the height of their irreverent, anything-goes approach to rock & roll. Emerging from the Annapolis and Baltimore, Maryland music scene, the band combined comedy, shock rock, punk attitude, theatrical characters, and deliberately outrageous humor into a sound and identity all their own.
Across 20 tracks, Greatest Hits plays like a time capsule of the band's turn-of-the-millennium Maryland underground world. The original album was released by Annapolis-based Fowl Records, the label founded by Jimi Haha of Jimmie's Chicken Shack, with much of the record recorded at Sonitek Studios.
More than two decades later, Big Curve Music brought Greatest Hits back into circulation, reissuing the album on September 6, 2022 and preserving a gloriously strange piece of Maryland rock history for a new generation.
