Lost 1994 cassette-only album from Annapolis punk legends The Shit, remastered and released for the first time on CD.
About the Album
Originally released in 1994 and sold only on cassette at the band’s shows, Give Up And Quit is the second album from Annapolis punk legends The Shit.
Nearly three decades later, Big Curve Music obtained a copy of the original ADAT mixes directly from the band and set out to bring the long-lost album back to life. The recordings were remastered by Tim Phillips in 2022, while artist Mike Hilton created entirely new artwork after the original cassette artwork could not be located.
Featuring Psycho Mike on vocals and guitar, Chris Rollins on guitar and vocals, Alvin Tucker on bass and Mike Littleton on drums, Give Up And Quit captures The Shit during their final era with 19 short, loud and unapologetic tracks. The 2022 Big Curve Music edition gave this once cassette-only album its first-ever release on CD, preserving a piece of Annapolis punk history that might otherwise have disappeared.
