About the EP
Released on Valentine’s Day 2023, Love Kills finds American Jetset exploring the darker side of romance through four songs of love, bondage, obsession, heartbreak, and revenge.
Taking the band’s gritty rock ’n’ roll foundation into darker territory, Love Kills blends American Jetset’s hard rock swagger with shadowy textures and touches of electronics while keeping the guitars, hooks, and attitude at the center of the record.
The EP closes with the dark ballad “Long Road to Nowhere,” featuring Kevin Harrington on saxophone. Moody and atmospheric, the song brings Love Kills to a haunting conclusion and showcases a side of American Jetset rarely heard elsewhere in the band’s catalog.
